I am the author of a book entitled Reconstructing David which is a story to help and motivate caregivers in perhaps how to navigate through the first stages of recovery after a serious injury. In David’s case, it was from the moment of his traumatic head injury as a result of a severe motorcycle accident, and through the following six weeks of his coma.
